Hey all,
I'm looking for the function code for the Sony BDV-E280 so I can program my DirecTV universal remote to be able to change the sound input. Thanks in advance!

What model of directv remote do you have? If its white, like rc65 or rc66, try code 21516. With a tv code programmed in, or the volume keys won't work at all, try the following:
1. av1 or av2
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT, wait for two blinks, release
3. enter 9 9 3
4. press VOL DOWN

Thanks. I have an rc66.
I used the 9 9 3 code, which worked for setting the volume control. However, I still can't control the receiver's Function, to switch between my TV, PS3, etc.

You're stuck with whatever's mapped via the only preset code 21516. If there are input commands available they would be found on the numeral keys, 0-9.
