Unless there is something over at hifi remote (jp1) you might be out of luck. I checked 3 dbs and even fired up my harmony (eek) just to see what existed for this. It's toggle input, toggle power.

However, it seems that Haier is either the same manufacturer or who Bush got the chassis from. (Forgive me that I did not research the global company structure of a low end TV manufacturer). So I also cross reference my dbs for Haier, but came up with the same. This means your best bet is to figure out the IRP (infrared protocol) of the TV, and generate some codes to test fire.

The closet model I could find was LT42m1cfa which seems to be dual branded haier and bush depending on which google,xx country you search from.

Thanks for the info, I have the remote control for the bush LE-40GCL-A and I've managed to learn most of the codes for the bush TV using the iTach learner. However, I would like to generate a code for the HDMI1 and 2 using the codes i've learnt from the IR learning device, is there a way I can do this? Apologies for the silly question its just that I've never done this before.

Well. We don't know if this tv has codes for those inputs or if it will even understand the information being sent to it.

The itach learner learns in a different format. I don't think it learns in pronto hex format. A couple posts below, I wrote a sort of how to for testing codes. You could try that out. You could try to drop the hex codes from the itach into irscrutinizer and see what you find. Then you could generate codes as described in the post and dump them back into the itach to test.

IrScrutinizer supports learning from the iTach directly, and presents them in several different formats, for example hex. It can also transform between the "irsend" format of GlobalCache and hex. And more...
