Does anyone have the IR codes for these? I've been scouring the internet for them to get my Global Cache working since the infrared learning is so lackluster. Thanks in advance for your help!

The IR learning is absolute garbage on those models. I don't even know why it's an option. Bookmark this site: Actually. Try to download everything off this site for the one day it goes offline.

You'll find your specific receiver in there, though the RX-V codes don't change much (assuming you are working with the American RX-V models), so really any of the RX-V would likely work. I have some Benq codes, but they are for other models. There is a great 232 link for Benq.

I am seeing these Benq request everywhere. I can't tell you how hard it is to support an $800 projo as a CI. I don't mean to suggest that its a poor purchase, but to suggest that I don't expect the manufacture to put the R&D or time into discretes at that price point. Granted, someone will post on here just to prove me wrong.

That being said, RS232 is your best option for full discretes. I have some IR codes for a similiar model, but it's only got one HDMI call and power is toggle. However, this PROJO may take a dual power as the discrete off, I really don't know. I don't generally integrate multimedia projectors.

If you don't know how to generate those codes with IRScrutinizer, download pronto edit to open the CCF file.

I also have some codes for the w6000 but they will need to be x-learned into pronto. I'd like to know if what I posted worked for you or not, as the xlearn process takes a lot of time.

Scribd.com has a service manual for this device, which includes a table with what look like the IR remote control codes for the device.

Here is the information that I scraped off the manual. I haven't had a chance to format or test this yet.

Here is an LIRC control file with the results of learning from the BENQ remote. All codes that do something using the remote work the same under lirc. There are no discrepancies between these codes and the codes from the service manual, although there are some ambiguities as to which command the name on the remote key should correspond to. I sent this file to the address below.
