I'm using a NEVO Q50 with IR Code Set c1982 to control my XFINITY X1 cable box.

I see threads on setting up a 30 sec skip with the XR2 remote - EXIT EXIT EXIT 0030.

Is there a way, macro or IR code, to set a button on non XFINITY remote for 30 second skip?

That sequence programs the DVR itself to respond to skip (PgDn) differently. Once you do the sequence successfully with the original remote, any other remote should do 30 sec skip. There is no need for a macro.
