I am Trying to control an Acurus ACT 3 Preamp using a Pro Control. I have tried learning the codes using the original controller and also some codes that i have found, however due to the codes looking like this - 5000 0073 0001 0000 001A 002F. the Pro Control doesnt want to read them. is it due to the 5000 at the beginning and not 0000? im not too sure, but if anyone could help with either why the pro control wont read the codes or learn them in and also if anyone has any codes for the Acurus that would be greatly appreciated.

The leading 5000 means that this is a short form for the RC5 IR protocol.  001A is the Device (system) number, and 002F is the function number.  Use IrScrutinizer to generate the Pronto Hex.  Enter 0x1A  (or 26) into the D field, and 0x2F (or 47) into the F field, and click Generate.

RC5 is a toggling protocol, and you can choose the state of the toggle bit in the T field.

Here are the ACT-3 functions.  Power is function 47, which is the short form Pronto you posted.

I don't know.  Have you checked all three files of these files?
