I am having a very hard time finding the code and steps to use to link my Toshiba SBX4250 soundbar to my Charter communications OCAP-4 remote.

Can anyone help me?

I found the remote manual for it online, but I assume you have gone that direction already. (Toshiba makes sound bars? Really?) I'm sure you've tried the one code set it has, and I am guessing it doesn't work.

I have power (toggle), vol +/-, and mute in hex for that device, but I am not sure how far that will get you. That's not a learning remote is it?

SysIntegration,
If you post the hex, so that we can get the protocol type and device numbers, I will be able to tell gamecocks whether he can manually modify his remote to control the soundbar, or if necessary how he can buy a $10 cable to install the codes from a computer.

gamecocks,
It will help if you do a 983 Signature blinkback, so we know for sure which OCAP you have.

I have others like bass +/- and others, but I just posted a sample of the main codes someone would likely use.

The Pronto Hex decodes as NEC 69.189  The Pronto Hex doesn't have any repeats, so we can't tell if this is NEC1 or NEC2, but it's probably NEC1, based on other Toshiba products.

No Charter remote that I'm aware of has this device.subdevice combination, so it isn't possible to manually enter the codes.  Assuming you remote has a 6 pin JP1 connector in the battery compartment, you can buy a $10 interface cable and program the OCAP using RemoteMaster.
