As you can see there are 300 + IR Codes. It takes a lot of time to create the hex for them. In the 10 years I have working on that list I have had 2 requests for codes from 2, 3, and 4.
Anyway what receiver are you installing? What control system are you using? Wouldn't you be better off using a controller with different IR outputs going directly to the IR In on each Pioneer receiver.
They call me the "Thread Killer". Just watch!

You can do this yourself, with a little bit of work.  Go to [Link: awe-europe.com]; and download e.g. VSX922-IR, which is the fiscal year 2013 (starts March 2012 in Japan) data.  This spreadsheet has all 4 Modes, but not in Pronto Hex format.

Next download IRMaster (download setup.exe if you're using Windows), install it, and use it to render the Pioneer codes into Pronto Hex.  You'll need to add an entry to IrpProtocols.ini:

[protocol]
name=Pioneer2Cmd
irp={40k,564}<1,-1|1,-3>(16,-8,D:8,~D:8,S:8,~S:8,1,^108m,16,-8,F:8,~F:8,E:8,~E:8,1,^108m)+ [D:0..255,S:0..255,F:0..255,E:0..255]

Then start IrMaster, select Pioneer2Cmd, and enter the Pioneer data.  For example, HDMI 1 for Mode 2 is listed as A59A+AF27.  In IrMaster, enter 0xA5 into D, 0x9A into S, 0xAF into F, and in Additional Parameters, enter E=0x27.
Click Generate, and it should display
0000 0068 0000 0044 0169 00B4 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0636 0169 00B4 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0017 0017 0044 0017 0044 0017 0636

To check the Pronto Hex, click decode, and it should show the decode in decimal rather than hexadecimal notation.

Oh damn, I really need those mode 2 codes and the link is down, I don't even think they exist anywhere, I have searched high and low on the net for the extra codes as I also need them. I have two Pioneer AVR's side by side and one is too old to support the second remote feature unfortunately and the newer one can do the different codes but I need the newer one on mode 1 which conflicts with the older AVR.

I need the newer AVR on mode 2 and I need the discrete codes for my harmony for HDMI-AMP and HDMI-THROUGH and also MCACC 1 to 6 and they only come as mode 1 :( Pioneer/Logitech should have made those buttons available for direct use, and also the subwoofer on/plus/off too, that was a huge over-site.

Anyways, my older AVR is a VSX-9130TXH and my newer one is an SC-1527-k (SC-65 basically). If anyone can help me get the mode 2 codes or possibly has a link to some kind of database or file with simply more mode 2 codes for pioneer receivers I can sift through that would be so helpful and I would be eternally grateful :)

Oh and sorry for posting on such an old thread, but this is the ONLY one that has ANY kind of mention about the mode 2 hex codes on the net that I can find so far.

Thank you for your time everyone ;)

I have tested these hex codes and they work perfectly on my Harmony, these are for remote MODE 2 on the Pioneer SC-1527-k/SC-65 (they also work with alot of other Pioneer receivers too but I only tested them on my model) Hope you all enjoy these I'm happy to publish them for everyone to make life easier :)
