I'm looking for discrete on/off codes for the Panasonic TC-P60GT50. The set has been on the market for only a few months, and Universal Remote hasn't updated their database. The URC code set for last year's model (TC-P60GT30) doesn't have the discrete power codes. And the discrete on/off codes for my old Panny plasma (five years old) don't work.

I read another discussion in this forum that Panasonic may not be supporting discrete on/off codes, but even if they're not supported, that doesn't mean they're not there. I can't help but think there would have been a much bigger outcry on this forum if the new line of Panasonic plasmas didn't have discrete on/off codes.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks a million, etc6849! The codes work great.

Wish I could help you with the discrete codes for formatting/aspect ratios. All I have is the toggle code. But I'll keep a watch for them.

Your welcome. Glad I could help. Here's a complete vbscript based module I've put together for controlling the new line of plasmas:

I actually ended up using a neat IR program called IR master to iterate through all panasonic IR codes (found a few others, but can't remember). If you download Premise and import the driver I wrote, all codes will be exposed in CCF format!
