Somehow I posted this in the Complete Control section by mistake. Copied it to here.

I'm using an mx editor with the latest code set on an mx-850 remote. It lists DTA under the Cable section under Comcast. The codes in this set contain functions that are not available on the DTA setup. This isn't a big deal as I'll ignore them. However, it seems the Channel Up code is defective. When used, it will sometimes channel Up, but more often it will either:
1. The channel indicator displayed on the TV will simply blink and the TV will stay on the same channel or
2. Channel Down.

I've tried learning the function from the original remote (about 20 times) without success.

Does anyone have hex codes for the DTA converter box?
Model: DC50Xu
Part: C1863447400

It has a Pace S/N.

I looked all over the converter while I was at mom's house trying to program the remote and didn't see the Pace. (I took a photo of the back on my phone to bring home). I've now found Pace DC50X in the Cable list but am unable to try it until I go back to mom's. It says Cable[113] in the Edit and Label Buttons Device dropdown box which it also said when I selected the Comcast DTA. Are these physically the same files (both names point to same IR data) or 2 separate sets of IR data? In other words is there a chance that the second code set isn't corrupted?

I'd prefer to have valid hex codes before I go back if possible. Thanks for any help.

Search is your friend:

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Thanks - I didn't think about searching for the DC50X but I did try DTA.

According to Post 2 here ([Link: remotecentral.com];), the hex code for channel up doesn't work.

It'll be a week before I can go back and try. Can anyone confirm it does work and the poster was incorrect?
