Hello,
I'm having a hard time trying to find discrete codes for this fairly-new Samsung Home Theatre/AV Receiver system (or any Samsung Home Theatre for that matter!), could anybody point me in the right direction, even if codes for a different model might be worth a try?

The unit is at the centre of my setup and with only an input toggle it's not great for control.

I've sent an email to Samsung requesting them but I don't know if that email will get through to somebody that understands what the hell they are.

Best Regards,
Warren

There's only 256 possible combinations, so you could try them all....

Thank you, I've used MakeHex to generate them all for NECx2 67.83 - need to get hold of a JP1 or similar to test them out and will post the results.

Out of interest how did you find out the device code?

Hifi-remote.com in the Combo Audio System file section.  Nothing for your exact model number however.

Pronto Hex isn't useful to JP1 style remotes.  Instead you'd need EFCs numbers, and of course those are available--that's what I converted to get the Pronto Hex. However, buy a RCA RCRP05B (< $20), and use setup code Audio 1295.  The digit 1 button will send Tuner, digit 2 will send DVD/BD, and digit 5 will send AUX.

Thanks for your help so far, unfortunately they don't work at all :(

If I could obtain one or more "learned" Pronto codes from the original remote, would it be possible to decode this code so that all the other functions can be made up for testing? What software would I use?

Sure.  Either post a few here, or use IRTool, IRScope, or IRMaster to decode.  In any case make sure that the IR protocol does get posted here.

Hi, I'm trying to use the codes listed above, with the BD/DVD code, the device seems to answer and on the display it shows BD/DVD, but after a sec it goes back to the source previously selected.
Any idea on... why?

and... I'm trying all the programs suggested and may more to try to obtain all other possible codes, but for the moment nothing has worked.

With IRtool, which device number I need to use to create the working codes??

I need the codes urgently.. I'm creating a driver today and for the moment I spend too much time... (I'm working for a customer)..

PLEASE!! HELP!!

Thanks
