I have an MX500 and often use a one for all remote URC8820N to learn codes to it, and I recently got a Klipsch subwoofer that reportedly has IR codes.

Does anyone have the remote control (one for all or MX500) codes or have an easy way to learn the code to an MX500?

Thank you in advance.

This thread has the Pronto codes.

They are NEC1 device 17.81.  The 8820N has no setup codes that can shoot this device.subdevice.

I downloaded that file. Can you explain how I can get the pronto codes into my oneforall remote or into my mx500 to use them?

I'm not familiar with the MX500.
The 8820N can be programmed with just about any IR signal using a JP1.3 interface cable. I recommend the one made by Tommy Tyler. Use the free RemoteMaster program--one of us who hang out at hifi-remote.com will generate an upgrade file for you if you like.

I vaguely remember several years ago, there is a complicated way for me to convert the hex files to some format and assign them with some complicated formula to a particular button on my mx500 using the IR Clone device.

If anyone can help walk me through the conversion and steps, I would appreciate it.
