I have read all over this forum and searched the WWW. No luck. So I'll just start a thread.
Does anyone have any information on whether the new Haier TV's have discretes? I just put a new Haier LED on a back porch to be controlled by a Crestron Prodigy system. It would be really helpful if I could locate a discrete power on and discrete power off .ccf file.
Anyone have an answer? Maybe another brand's codes that they know work?
Thanks.

Why not generate the whole codeset and try them all? If you have the TV to test with it's the perfect opportunity.

Explain "generate the whole code set"? I have learned the codes and have the hex values, but the power is toggle only.

The first step is to identify the code you already have, a program called IRTool will do this for you. The second step is generating all codes in that set, the number of codes in a set depends upon the protocol of the codeset, but most often there are 255 codes. A program called Makehex will do this for you. The third step is to test all the codes into your TV. Both these programs are available here on RC. Post the code you have and we'll give you some pointers. Mark
