Has anyone found discrete codes for the Vizio VHT510 sound bar? I called Vizio and was told they only have them for TVs... which doesn't make a whole lot of sense since not too many people will like having to keep a separate remote for sound only!

If say they don't have any your not going to find any. They don't magically appear. :).

Well... I've had other vendors tell me they don't have them, but then found that someone on this forum either found them or figured them out. So in general, it never hurts to ask.

Post some learnt hex codes and then we can give you all 256 possible codes to try.

Sounds like you're not lacking discrete commands, you're lacking ALL commands since you say you have to keep the oem remote always around?

What remote are you trying to program, is it a learning remote, can't you simply teach the every day commands you would need to put the oem remote away?

Sorry - bad description on my part.

I had the Pronto learn all the commands on the remote - but not having discretes for it is a pain since you have to toggle for input, power, mode, etc. Hard volume/mute keys work fine. I'll put up the learned codes and am game to try whatever may work.

I too am looking for discrete codes for this unit. I actually am looking for the basic codes as well! I'm on a non-learning remote (Comcast red OK button) and am hoping that some simple EFC codes can at least get me power and volume controls.

I haven't purchased the sound bar but am also looking for the codes for the VHT215. How did you make out finding any?

I am looking for the codes for my Vizio VHT215 soundbar that will work with my Comcast Remote. The code Vizio gives, 31517, doesn't work. Does anyone have a code that works?
