Comcast and Verizon boxes. My clients are in Southeast PA and this time of year we are hit with storm related power outages once or twice a week. The cables boxes are in all sorts of states of on or off. Leaving them on all the time - means non stop trouble calls. Any suggestions?

I'm not familiar with either of those boxes first hand, but I would look to see if you could use a control system that offers both voltage sensing and video sensing and see if one of those two options works fo you.

I haven't tried. Has anyone out there an experience with the screen saver after a power outage?
