I have he discrete codes for a SONY KDL TV (Video 1 through Video 9) but since I dont have access to the TV until Aug 1st am having trouble figuring out which connection type per input.
Does anyone know which input corresponds to which conenction?
ie:
Video 1 - composite (side of TV)
Video 2 - component 1
Video 3 - HDMI 1
etc,, etc.
Using URC codes.

It depends on the model (it was pretty consistent for a while but then they renamed everything by input type but using the same codes - like Component 1, HDMI 1 - then I believe the last change was going back to generic Video names).
Why not download the manual from Sony and see exactly what's going on?

manual doesn't tell you which is which. on screen menue and set up tells you.
how did you get input discrete codes. i need them badly

how do I get my MX500 Remote to select each individual imput without toggling, ie. One button for one input
