Hi,
I have a 2006 Insignia model IS-TV040922A 24" TV and recently was sent a Comcast Custom DVR 3-Device Universal Remote control to operate it and my new cable control box.

The Insignia Programming Control codes listed with the Comcast remote fail to power off the TV.

A search of available codes with the Comcast Remote also fail to power off the TV.

The OEM Insignia Remote has an ID. Tag inside the battery compartment
with the following number printed on it: BT-04148...CH

Maybe this number will assist in locating a remote control code for this device
that is compatible with the Comcast remote described.

This thread suggests that TV 0054 may work.  If you have a remote with a red OK/Select button, use setup code 10054.

If you have any response from the TV using any setup code, tell us which setup code, and we may be able to tell you how to make the other functions work.
