I'm a bit of a newbie, but so far I have managed to get everything the way I want it - except for one nagging thing. I cannot find a discrete power OFF code for my sony tv - kv32fx60 (wega)
I have found the discretes posted in the files section (listed below)
Power Off
0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 03de

Power On
0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 03f6

Power On
For some European models.

the first 2 do not even register on my tv - the last one - european power on Does work, but i still have to use the power toggle code to turn it off. Does anyone have a discrete that might do the trick?? any help much appreciated.
Can I also add that I have found a great deal of very helpful info in the forums and files sections, thanks to all who take the time to help people like me!

Martin,

You might try the All Systems off command listed below. When I decoded the European On, it gave me an idea. The normal Sony On and Off are functions 46 and 47. The European On (that your TV responds to) is 56 so we should try 57.

In addition we should also try Sony 12:Device 1(the standard TV device code):Function 55 the universal off command but on the TV device code. The commands are below. I have repeated the On command with it's decoding.

FYI, there a three major Sony IR protocols that are Sony 12, Sony 15, and Sony 20. All have 7-bit functions (or commands) and 5, 8, and 13 bit device codes respectively. With the exception of the All Systems Off command, all device codes less than 32 use Sony 12.

All Systems Off

Sony 15: Device Code: 4 Function 55

0000 0067 0000 0010 0060 0019 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0019 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0019 0018 0019 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 034b

Sony 12: Device Code: 1 Function: 55 European TV Off??

Sony 12: Device Code: 1 Function: 56 European On

0000 0067 0000 000D 0061 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 040E

Sony 12: Device Code: 1 Function: 57 European TV Off??

0000 0067 0000 000D 0061 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 03F6

Please let me know what works.

Thanks Jon,
I tried all the codes you provided - but only the 'european On' code worked. I have now started to create my own codes using pronto util and makehex, will try all codes that are created - might take some time though. But thanks for trying!
Martin.
