Hello all,

My brother who lives a couple thousand miles from me had asked if I could recommend a good LCD between 37" and 42" that wouldn't break the bank.

I had instructed him to look at LG, Samsung, Panasonic, etc. but he went and purchased an Apex LD4088. I didn't even know Apex made TV's!

I've shipped him an old Marantz RC5400 for controlling his system but I can't find any discrete IR codes anywhere for this cheap a$$ display.

Does anybody have ANY codes for an Apex television?

Preferably discrete power commands and inputs but I would settle for any learned commands from a factory remote so I don't have to walk him through the process over the phone.

Thanks in advance...

It's very unlikely it will have discretes. You will have to learn from the original remote and then if you post some examples of hex codes we may be able to help.

Yeah, I figured as much. I can walk him through learning them and have him upload the file and email it back to me.

Will post codes when I get them.....thanks.

I think they may use Toshiba codes.
