Cable provider is switching from Scientific Atlanta to Cisco boxes. Anyone have codes and experience?

From my knowledge Cisco purchased SA and although changed features of the box kept all the IR codes the same

Find out the model number of the cable boxes. Then maybe we can make an informed suggestion.

RNG200 uses XMP protocol, while most SA boxes use Panaosnic (old).

our cable company switched from scientific atlantic to cisco and all the codes are the same. You can use the same remote that originally came with the old box and control the new cisco boxes.

Thanks for your input. I have an appointment with the customer tomorrow. I guess i'll have to stick the emitter at the right place...
