I'm looking for discrete codes for a ReplayTV 5040 (SONICblue DVR)

Particularly:
Power on
Power off

Thanks

I think all Replay models use the same commands have you tried the ones posted in the discrete section?

Yes, I found four sets of .ncf files for various Replay models. Two of them simply contained "Power" buttons. The other two *appeared* to have separate "On" and "Off" buttons, but these were really just two power toggles, rather than being discretes.

I set up remote functions for my Replay 4508 (it also works for the 5000 series) with discrete power codes. I have the MX-700 but I actually used the "hacked" Replay codes you can find on the Yahoo jp1 group and loaded them into my OFA 8811 I got for the purpose of getting discrete codes. This hacked set also has things like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 minute skip, both forward and back. It's very nice. I would advise getting a jp1 remote like the OFA 8811 and a jp1 cable and make your own code set for your ReplayTV. If you have the MX-700, I'd be happy to send you my file.

The Yahoo jp1 group was the only place I found any discrete codes for the ReplayTV that I could get to work. The discretes listed in the Pronto section were individual codes that I didn't know how to convert to advanced codes. The CCF2EFC program at the Yahoo jp1 site requires an entire CCF file and wouldn't convert them for me. But when I found someone already had the entire code set hacked for the ReplayTVs that you could load into a jp1 remote, that made it much easier anyway.
