I mainly need the power ON/OFF codes, but any other codes would be appreciated. I read another post saying that I can force my remote to start sending discrete codes with a combination of buttons, but that has not worked for me. I am trying to configure my URC MX-850 and any help would be appreciated. I am guessing that codes for any recent Mitsubishi rear projection DLP would work. Thanks!

Have you tried previous models?

I tried the codes from both of those previous models with no luck. I also tried generating codes with MakeHex and have not had any luck. To be certain, I am going through and trying every single one of the generated codes. I am through the first 60 of 255 hex codes and not one of them has yet to trigger any activity at all on the TV. I tried emailing Mitsubishi and have not heard back in over a week.

Any other ideas how to track these discretes down? I saw some posts saying this series doesn't support discrete codes, but that seems almost impossible to me.

If that is the case the codes are wrong.

There is a ccf file here that contains all possible codes for previous models.

Nope! Other than contacting Mitsubishi but you've done that.

Why is that? Many TV's don't have discrete's.

I am having the same problem between the older WD-***37 model and the newer WD-***38. I can not find discretes for the WD-73638, that is replacing the WD-73637 in our store. Mitsu's old "discretes only" setup of the factory remote no longer works. Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

*edit* I have discrete codes for the WD-***37 models, and the power codes do not work...

*update* After ongoing research, we have found that Mitsu WD**638 TVs do not support discrete power & input codes, only WD-**738 and WD-**838 TVs do.
