Has anyone been able to locate discretes for LG's Netcast function.

I'm specifically looking for thumbs up and thumbs down for Pandora and to bring up Netcast from menu.

I could write some macros or program in some variables but I'm sure how reliable they would be.

Anyone found a discrete for LG's Netcast yet?

I can't believe they don't exist. 550 people have looked and no one knows what to do? I spent an hour on a chat with LG. They kept telling me I needed the code for my URC that is compatible with their BD570. I explained it 8 time and they said they didn't exist but they would look into it and contact me via email. That was over a week ago, I think they forgot to get back to me. I have been ok at teaching but the on/off has not been working. I will trudge forward and try to find something that works and get back.

Why would they?

A lot of devices don't even have discrete ON and OFF codes.

Do a search for MakeHex +IR Tools and generate your own hex codes to search for it.

Jasonvp, LG does have ON/OFF discretes for this series, I'm am using them right now. I was talking about a discrete for "Netcast".

I can't get "netcast" with a single command.

If anyone is having issues with on/off discretes, I have that info. Just let me know.

As far as LG support. I have "we will contact you via email" song and dance at least 10 times. They have NEVER emailed me anything. It just seems like a good excuse to get you to go away. They never follow up.

I've had no luck with this either. I'm also trying to find the codes for turning Subtitles on/off and to cycle through subtitle choices. EFC's 146 and 101, respectively, should do the job but don't. Do you have these working?

No, I haven't done anything with the subtitles. I've only got the ON/OFF discretes for this series. Seems like everything else is a wash.

Looks like LG is slacking on their engineering. Then again, at the price point for these Blu Ray units....

I may have to setup another conference with an engineer. Sadly, I think I already know what the answer is going to be.
