....I realise it's a long shot, but does anyone have discrete IR codes for one of these things???? I've lost the original remote so no option to learn either...

 the remote that it comes with looks the same as the remote that comes with the  Western Digital WD Live.  what kind of remote are you programming?  maybe you could use the WD Live codes. 

The Netgear EVA8000 has the following discrete codes. Perhaps the EVA2000 uses the same IR signals. RC5 protocol:

Unfortunately, I couldn't get the eva8000 codes to work (but it could be I'm not entering them correctly in Prontoedit!?). I actually need all IR codes - transport and cursor controls etc...

Are you using PEP2.4?

Paste the hex code in the large window (left of Duration settings) where it says DATABASE CODE.

No, they are from a EVA8000.

You should be able to learn them from the original remote.

Tips,
Make sure you have new batteries in the remote. Make sure RAW LEARN is Off in My Database. Point remote at learning Eye on the bottom left of the TSU9600 and hold button down for about 1 to 2 seconds (a short press is usually best). Try to learn these in a dark room or atleast not under direct light.

Even if you can't get them to work you should get some part of the hex code learnt. Post those results and we maybe able to correct them. Do not post hex codes that start with FFFF, they can not be corrected.

I don't have a Harmony remote to check with.

It appears there's a firmware update available for my eva2000 too, which, from what I've read, may change the codeset.....problem is I need the remote to install it. Doh.

All I can suggest is you contact Netgear and ask them for the codes.
