....I realise it's a long shot, but does anyone have discrete IR codes for one of these things???? I've lost the original remote so no option to learn either...

the remote that it comes with looks the same as the remote that comes with the  Western Digital WD Live.  what kind of remote are you programming?  maybe you could use the WD Live codes.

The Netgear EVA8000 has the following discrete codes. Perhaps the EVA2000 uses the same IR signals. RC5 protocol:
Power ON Device Code: 23 (0x17) Function: 103 (0x67)
0000 0073 0000 000B 0040 0020 0020 0040 0040 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0CA4

Power OFF Device Code: 23 (0x17) Function: 104 (0x68)
0000 0073 0000 000A 0040 0020 0020 0040 0040 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0040 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0CC5

WD Live uses NEC1 device 132.121. I'm not aware of any discretes.

Thanks for your help.

I'm programming a Pronto 9600.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get the eva8000 codes to work (but it could be I'm not entering them correctly in Prontoedit!?). I actually need all IR codes - transport and cursor controls etc...

Try codes in Post 5.

Do you know how to enter them into your My Database?

See PEP2.4 Help under,
Looking into ProntoEdit Professional 2 Step by Step / My Database / How to Customize IR Functions

Paste the hex code in the large window (left of Duration settings) where it says DATABASE CODE.

Thanks for your help Jason, but they don't work....are they learned from an EVA2000 remote?

No, they are from a EVA8000.

You should be able to learn them from the original remote.

Tips,
Make sure you have new batteries in the remote. Make sure RAW LEARN is Off in My Database. Point remote at learning Eye on the bottom left of the TSU9600 and hold button down for about 1 to 2 seconds (a short press is usually best). Try to learn these in a dark room or atleast not under direct light.

Even if you can't get them to work you should get some part of the hex code learnt. Post those results and we maybe able to correct them. Do not post hex codes that start with FFFF, they can not be corrected.

Cheers
Jason

I don't have a Harmony remote to check with.

Here is another to try,

POWER
5000 0000 0000 0001 0000 000C

I found this site that says it uses the same codes as a Magnavox 26MF337B  (26" LCD). Just need to find those codes :) The above code is from a Magnavox TV.

Give this a try too,

POWER
0000 0073 0000 001F 0060 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0020 0030 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 09AC

Thanks again, but neither works.

It appears there's a firmware update available for my eva2000 too, which, from what I've read, may change the codeset.....problem is I need the remote to install it. Doh.

All I can suggest is you contact Netgear and ask them for the codes.
