I've just recently got the Samsung PN58C8000 and I've been searching the HTM IR data base for a compatible TV that includes a discrete code to put the TV in/out of Game Mode. I have the MX-700 remote with the latest codes but no luck yet.

Anyone have a Samsung TV with Game Mode and a HTM remote and found a game mode discrete ?

tks.

Check out the codes listed on the first few posts of the thread below.  If the Game mode discrete exists, it will be one of those codes.

thanks for the link but how can I get those codes into the remote? I haven't seen a hex edit feature in the MX-700 editor..

you use the universal browser.  copy and paste a hex code into that, then drag it onto a button.

Click on the Univarsal broswer button (next to live update button)   Then click on Hex.  A window will open up where you can paste your code.  Then click on the Drag button and drag the code over to your button.

I don't have a menu item like that. Must be a diffeernt version. I'm using MX-700 editor 1.12.322.0907. Live update is under the Help menu item.

This Universal browser option sounds real nice.

Thanks. I can't tell you how long I've been trying to find a way to do this and didn't think this software had the option. I always assumed that if it wasn't in the menus it didn't exists. I don't mean to complain but Microsoft standards dictate that all option should be in the menus. so... Well, I guess it's my fault for not looking hard enough. thanks again.

did you ever find a discrete for game mode? I didn't see any discrete codes in the samsung thread linked to earlier!
