I have a ViP 922 and an MX-980 and the PIP and Swap commands listed above repeat causing the functions to toggle repeatedly if the button is held (or the command is part of a macro involving button holds). I believe the 922 should be handling repeating codes and it does for the most part but it doesn't for every button. Apparently the IR and RF processing are different and Dish really doesn't support IR remotes on the 922.

I came up with a fix after reading the following post:
[Link: remotecentral.com]

I moved Burst Sequence 2 (the repeating sequence) to Burst Sequence 1 (the single shot part). But the receiver didn't respond, so I trippled up the sequence and all is well.

Here are the modified codes. Note there is NO repeating sequence in these codes.

The same can easily be done for any command that causes problems.

Here's the original PIP command from earlier in this thread, but broken up into preamble, non-repeating sequence and repeating sequence.

PIP
0000 0048 0001 0011
0016 0163
0016 0061 0016 0061 0016 0061 0016 00A1 0016 0061 0016 00A1 0016 00A1 0016 00A1 0016 00A1 0016 00A1 0016 00A1 0016 0061 0016 00A1 0016 00A1 0016 00A1 0016 00A1 0016 0163

The non-repeating sequence appears to always be 1 in Dish commands, and there is no real data here. The "interesting" part is always in the repeating section.

So delete the non repeating section (2 words in this case), duplicate the repeating section and doctor the preamble: non-repeating count becomes 3 times the original repeating count and the repeating count becomes 0000.
