Hi everybody,

This is my first post so be gentle with me! I am currently programming a Philips Pronto TSU9300 to control a Samsung LED TV, Apple TV, Topfield HD Sat Box and Panasonic SC-BT200 blu ray home cinema system. I can control all of the equipment how i want except for the Panasonic. I have learnt the commands for the Panasonic from the Panasonic remote and using the Pronto Edit software, however i can turn the unit off, but not on. The only way to turn it on is with the power toggle button.

Therefore i am after the discrete ir code (pronto hex) for "power on".

I have searched the forums and tried all codes for other panasonic equipment as the bt200 is not listed, but none of them work.

Please can somebody help?

Hi Veritais, Welcome to RC.

Try this,

0000 0071 0000 0032 007F 0040 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0AAB

If it does not work, post the learnt Hex Code for the Power Toggle and the Power Off you have.

Cheers

Doesn't work, i've already tried it from another post.

Learnt code for power toggle:

0000 0072 0033 0000 0081 003E 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 002F 0010 002F 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 002F 0010 002F 0010 002F 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 002F 0010 0A93 0081 0292

The power off is a database code from philips, so it wasn't learnt by me. Unfortuntely i cannot see the hex for it.

They don't work unfortunately. I'm also after codes to select "Digital In 1" and "Digital In 2". They are only selectable using an input scroll button if you can assist?

Did you learn all the functions of the original remote?

If you did, send me your "My Database" File (my address is in my profile) and I will take a look.

Cheers

Did you get the Power Off Database Code from a Blu-ray Player in the Philips Database?

The SC-BT200 is using a few different Device Number.
i.e.
160 (Volume Up/Down/Mute, Ipod)
160.4 (Radio)
160.16 (Sound)
160.28 (Power Toggle)
176 (Blu-ray)
176.1 (Blu-ray)

Generally Panasonic use Function Numbers,
61 = Power Toggle
62 = Power On
63 = Power Off

That's why I have been giving you the Hex Codes in the other Posts to try. I have already given you Power On (Function 62) for Device 160, 160.28 and 176 which none work.

Here are the rest,

Device Code: 160.4 Function: 62
0000 0070 0000 0032 0080 0040 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0010 0ACE

If they don't work can you try the below Blu-ray Power Off Code to confirm that this is the same as the Database Code?

Hi Jason,

None of those codes work either unfortunately, however play does turn it on! I think that should be fine for now, however it defaults to Blu-ray which takes about 30 seconds to load. The power off code you posted does work.

Have you got any ideas for switching to digital in 1 and digital in 2?
