Any luck on Discrete Power for a Epson Powerlight 8100 Projector. Normally I would be fine with the power toggle once for "on" then twice for "off". But the sequence doesn't play nicely with Control4. Any help?

The only discrete I am aware of is,
OFF
NEC2
Device Code: 131.85 Function: 145
0000 006D 0000 0022 0157 00AC 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0689

There is no ON discrete.

If the above hex code does not work you will need to post a learnt hex code from the 8100 so we can help.

Cheers

Do this year's model projectors require any firmware updates for the discrete off command?

I have an Epson 8350 which replaces the 8100 and I'm looking for discreet power ON/OFF too. I learned the power toggle and all the others using USBUIRT into MainLobby for my controls. Epson sent me the table below which shows a HEX code for power on and off. But I don't know how to translate these into the long strings of hex that were learned from the other buttons (what do you call that kind of IR format?). Anyone know how I can use this table to get the long-string IR codes for power on/off?

I'm looking for discrete on/off for my new Epson TW3200 in the UK.
Any likelihood that the codes posted above will do the trick?

I'll obviously try them out in my Pronto tonight, but wondered if anyone had already tried.

I'll report back with my findings.

Tested these codes on my Pronto with the Epson TW3200.

I can confirm that the discrete off code works fine. The on code is actually just a toggle not a discrete, but does work ok.
