Hello all,

I am looking for discrete codes for a Samsung UN40B6000 LCD TV. I imagine it may be the same as other UNxxB6000 models. I have tried virtually every code on this site and others that I can find and am not getting anywhere. This is for a Crestron controlled system, and I tried the Crestron IR file for the UN46B8000XF and it does not work.

I've tested my emitter and it is working properly. It has a red LED as well as the IR LED.

Any help would be great!

Very strange as Samsung generally use the same codesets.
Are you certain your system is set up and programmed correctly?
Can you post any learnt codes from your TV?

What Codes do you need. I have ones that work fine.

I only really need discrete POWER ON and POWER OFF. I am going to learn this BN59-00850A remote into Crestron DEAL with a CNXLIR, but that won't help me with the discrete power functions. It will help me compare this remote codeset with other files and codes I have though.

False alarm guys. It is the same as most of the other codes I have. I had the IR blaster right over the power button (and I tried just below it). Turns out it needs to go about 3" to the left of the power button. What's weird is if I hold the remote right up against the power button, that works. Anyways, goes to show you NOT to follow Samsung's manuals. The manual drawing of the TV had a line right at the power button and said "REMOTE CONTROL SENSOR: Aim the remote control towards this spot on the TV."

Anyways, I'm in good shape. Thanks!

Oh, I did some digging on this forum but couldn't figure out if anyone was able to make a Samsung TV power ON with Exlink. Any updates on this? Most of the posts I found were from 2007-2008 and for older TVs.
