I have a Samsung UN55B8500. I was able to find the IR sensor on the TV and I was able to get a few codes to work that I found under Samsung TV functions. The power command works and the menu command works but the up, down, left and right commands don't work. I'm looking for an extensive list of HEX codes for this TV. If they are not available, is there a list of hex codes for the Samsung 8000 TV? Thanks for any help.

is there a reason you can't learn the codes?
is there a reason you need the codes in HEX?

The pronto remote I have is an IR remote. The remote that comes with the TV is an RF remote. I can't use the TV remote to teach my Pronto.

I ended up buying a Harmony remote. I then taught my Pronto remote the IR commands from the Harmony remote. Problem solved.

If you have a Nevo try code T1312. It works both of my Samsung TVs and has all the discrete codes.

Glad you've resolved it.
It might be a good idea for you to post the resulting codes here just in case anyone else comes up against this problem.

I also have the Samsung UN55B8500. I am using an MX-800 IR/RF universal remote. The TV responds to IR, but the TV remote is RF only, so no learning is possible. I have found most of the IR codes I need through (1) learning from another Samsung IR remote I have for another TV and (2) from other posts on this forum. Thanks to all who post, by the way.

However, I am missing the codes for the color buttons: Red, Green, Blue and Yellow, I believe (the remote is not with me now). If anyone has the hex codes for these buttons, please post them in this thread.

Thanks in advance.

I just pickup up an 8500 and am attempting to configure a Pronto remote. I'd very much appreciate it if you (poolne1) could forward me a list of the IR codes that you've accumulated. Mike [[email protected]]

I am also looking for a couple of codes for the Samsung 8500, using a URC MX-980. The "internet" code does not seem to be listed anywhere and the "pause" that is listed for the 8000 does not seem to work.
