probably, These seem to work with mostly new model Vizios only.

I hope so! If there's any way someone has the capability to test these codes out with an SV370XVT and report back I would sincerely appreciate it!

Discrete codes DO NOT work on the Vizio VA26L 26".

Discretes work on the VO320E 32".
Sometimes you just have to figure it out for yourself!

You will have to send them to Harmony and ask them to add them to their Database.

Cheers

I've got an old Radio Shack 8 in 1 remote...is there a way (hopefully without too much hassle) to get the codes into it then use it to 'teach' the Harmony?

Sure. Use Setup Code TV 0178.  Remotes made in the last 3 years or so can use setup code TV 1758, which provides more functions.  Remotes which take 5 digit setup codes (e.g. Comcast red OK/Select Button) use 11758, where the leading "1" imples TV.
Then use keymoves to assign the following EFCs.  Remotes made in the last 5 years will probably expect 5 digit EFCs.

Assign the setup code
1) Tap TV
2) Press Setup until it blinks twice
3) Enter 0178 (or 1758 or 11758)
The remote should blink twice

Assign EFCs
1) Tap TV
2) Press Setup until it blinks twice
3) Enter 994  (remote should blink twice)
4) Tap Setup
5) Enter a 3 digit or 5 digit EFC  from below
6) Tap the target key to store the function on.
Should get two blinks.  If desired, see additional detail on the 9XX commands.

hmmm, i think my Radio Shack remote must be older than that...I have the model 15-2116. It doesn't have a 'setup' button...just a 'P' used to get it into program mode. I tried to get through the process above but no good. It does have Keymover, but all it seems to let me do is map a key from one device to another.

Any ideas how to get those EFC codes into this remote?

Hi,

I was so hopefull that these discrete will work on my new Vizio VF550M. Unfortunately they do not. I need to be able to control on/off and all Inputs directly (instead of cycling through them). I would appreciate if someone could point me to the advanced (EFC - I believe) code for my model of Vizio.

Thanks!

These codes DO work on the SV370XVT :)

I have a Logitech Harmony One remote; I emailed the HEX codes to Logitech and they added them to my account in about a day.

Hello Everyone,

I just purchased a VF551XVT, and I am thrilled to see this thread. I have a question. . .there is a button on my Vizio remote called 'modes' which cycles to the different viewing modes like 'standard', 'vivid', 'movie', 'football', and many others. Simmilarly, there is a 'Wide' button for cycling through the screen zoom modes. Does anyone know if there are discrete codes for those as well?

Is the best way to identify these to just try the unused codes from the original post, generate the hex, and process of elimination? I think I'm too lazy for that.

Any ideas?
