I am trying to figure out how to set a button to stop the tivo recording. I can't seem to get the sequence for stopping a recording as it all depends on what page the tivo is on when you start the macro. Since I have Tivo as a seperate input into my TV, I would like to stop the recording without flipping inputs and thus actually seeing what page Tivo is on when I elect to stop the recording.
Any ideas?

Tivo combo units like the tivo/dvd or tivo/dvdr units have Stop button on their tivo peanut remotes. This Stop command works on non dvd units as well for tivoed shows.
If you have access to UEI made remote. like one-for-all or radio shack models, the advanced code for STOP is 037 or 00037.
