I just picked up a usedYamaha CDC-585 CD changer. I use theAurora MX-950 remote. I didn't see any discrete codes listed for that model. I've also tried codes from the different models listed in the database. I suspect I am missing something. is anybody familiar with this player remote combination that can help?

One final bit of information. Since I bought the player used, I do not have the original remote so I cannot have the 950 learn the code from the original.

I may have seen these in my search, but I notice they are not for my specific remote and I don't know what to do with the file.

Maddmixer,

I am not familiar with the MX-950,but if you have the Aurora MX-950 remote Software read this,

[Link: remotecentral.com]

On the bottom of the page read "Importing codes".

If you download any Hex Codes, just make sure they are CCF files (original Pronto).

The remote should not need to match specifically.Codes are based on Devices,so if you have a Yamaha CDC-585 CD changer just download this.

You should be able to Import these CCF files to Aurora MX-950 remote Software.

Found this to,

You should be able to Import these to.

Hope this helps!

This is fantastic. Thanks for the help. Now that I understand the CCF files better I can resolve some older issues I've been avoiding.

Much appreciated.
