Using a AVR-5800 and rarely use the RC-8000 to control it after I set it up. Now using the Dish Remote just to power up/down and volume, but cannot get either remote to turn it on. I have to manually get up and push the "on" button, and then get up and turn it off when done. Okay, I need the exercise, but it becomes a pain after a while. Anyone else had this problem or a fix? If I get a new Universal or Logitech remote, would it fix the problem? Just might sell the whole rig and start fresh. Any help would be appreciated.
