its funny,
that being the laughing stock of remotes ..
harmony has one of the best device databases out there.

so i just keep a cheap harmony 550 (that i had lying around)
in my bag at all times. if i have trouble finding a discrete command
i just load the device in to the harmony 550, then learn it in to the
current remote that im programming . .

sometimes the quickest way to get discrete codes without researching.

I do that very thing. It is the only good use I can find for a harmony.
I have used them to learn codes to remotes that wouldn't learn from factory remotes.
There is a great need for a Sarcasm font!

motech, The_Steve_man, I'm curious... Which remotes you prefer or are you talking about programming an AMX or Crestron system or something like that?

Just load the Harmony with the codes and use the Harmony to teach your other learning remote with it instead of the OEM remote which may be missing or have less buttons overall. I'm not familiar with the RTI T2-cs, but how do you normally teach it anything from a factory remote?
