anyone have experiance using the "service only" rs232 ports on standard pioneer displays (6010?) for control?

Try the Elite RS-232 commands (PRO-150FD is a similar model).
They should work just fine.

i found the nevo rs232 commands in a device on the files section . .
worked perfectly ...
now i need rs232 for pioneer elite rcvr!
: )
( i wish i understood these pdf's better . .)
