I ran all 128 codes for the Sony HD200 and only came up with On and Off as discretes. (same as the ones posted). No wide mode discretes or format discretes.

David,

Thanks for testing but a few questions. I believe that the HD200 is both a DSS receiver and OTA or Broadcast HD receiver. Are their discrete commands to go between DSS and OTA modes? Also, are there discrete commands between Regular Definition and High Definition mode?

Thanks,

-Jon

Jon,

The HD200 is integrated for DSS and OTA meaning that the channels automatically go in order, ie Directv ch 2, Ant analog ch 2, Ant digital ch 2.x. No need for switching between DSS and OTA like the DTC100. No discretes for output mode just a toggle between 1080i, 720p, 480i, 480p, video1/2, Variable 1, Variable, 2 and Variable 3. The fixed outputs are just that- whatever comes in is converted to the selected output. The variables allow diffrent combinations to pass natively and up/down convert others. The Wide Mode does not have discretes either that I can find so only a toggle for normal, wide, panaroma, zoom1 and zoom2. The discretes aren't that big a deal as at least for me I'm set to 1080i and panaroma (for the 4x3 channels) but they would be nice esp as Fox HD continues to be 480p and in 1080 you cut off part of the top and bottom of the screen( half the score header for example in sports).
