I am looking for some discrete codes for the ADV-700 in raw format or Pronto CCF. I noticed that Steve Mackay posted some for a different remote several years ago (mxd format for Home Theater Master MX-700), but his email address has changed since then.

Since I didn't hear from anyone, here is how I figured out the codes: First, gather the codes emitted by the remote control (using Pronto NG). Paste each in a text file. Then import into a spreadsheet. Using formulas, show each code as a binary number. This gives 25 or so codes from which I figured out the structure of the codes. This still leaves several hundred codes to experiment with. To generate them easily, I wrote a small script that generates the IR string that Pronto NG Edit takes in. Then, it's painstaking copy and paste for a couple of hours to try them. But I had good results and found all the codes I needed. I'll include them in the next post.

Those codes are what I would call "standard" Denon Sharp hex codes for an AV receiver. I decoded then using IRToolMod and DecodeIR.dll

Just take the codes for something like the 3805:

Either use the CCF in the above or use the PDF in the above and the program below to generate the codes for yourself:
