Can some one point me in the right direction on how to start breaking down IR code and create my own discretes. I have been programing remotes on the pronto platform for 8 months, doing about 3 a week, but I use only codes that I can find here. I would really like to know how I can make my own for those that I cannot find. Is there some place that I can turn to that can give me a start?

in the file section there is a file that explains the Pronto HEX, and there are some utilities that can generate all the codes from one code. Then you need to test all the given possible codes
