I have a Proscan PSHD105 HDTV Receiver. I've been looking for HD ON, HD OFF, ANT A, and SAT discretes, with no luck. I have tried using the RCA DTC100 discrete codes from this website, but the only ones that work are power on and power off. The codes that I have work fine on a RCA DTC100 that I tried.
Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Jon, Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, those codes only work on the RCA DTC-100. The discrete HDON, HDOFF, SATELLITE, ANTENNA A, ANTENNA B do not work with the Proscan HD Receiver. Any more suggestions? Thanks. On 10/25/02 12:26.50, jarmstrong said...

Do you use your Proscan with DirecTV? If not, IIRC correctly (and I have a DTC-100) a bunch of discrete commands came as software upgrades delivered over the satellite.
What makes me think that is the file I referenced was specifically for a Proascan PSHD105. If this is true, then maybe there is some other way to get the upgrades.

Has anybody used the RCA DTC-100 codes on the Proscan PSHD105 with success? I would be interested to know that they do work. Then I would be able to focus on the firmware of the unit as my probem.
Please let me know if you have been successful in implementing all of discrete inputs.

i installed one and the codes worked fine. did you try all the files. because i remember some of the files worked and some didn't.

I've installed several of the ProScan TV's with the built in HDTV DSS Receiver. DTC-100 Code Set worked fine.
Is the Box set to IR Code set 1?

Impaqt,
How would I set the Proscan HDTV receiver to IR Code Set 1? I cannot find any way to adjust it on the regular menu. Is there a way to get into the service menu and do it?
