I am begging for some help as I have tried as much as I can. I have a Pronto TSU9600 and i am having difficulties with a NAD T775 and the NAD DVD player. I have tried learning the codes directly from the NAD remote but nothing seems to work. I have been able to obtain the Codes from NAD, part of page 1 as follows:

Model T775
Function Format Address Hex DataHex Address Dec DataDec
A/V Preset 1 NEC 877C 3A 34684 58
A/V Preset 2 NEC 877C 3B 34684 59
A/V Preset 3 NEC 877C C3 34684 195
A/V Preset 4 NEC 877C C4 34684 196
A/V Preset 5 NEC 877C C6 34684 198
AM NEC 877C 82 34684 130
Audyssey NEC 877C C9 34684 201
Bypass NEC 877C DB 34684 219
Center - NEC 877C D5 34684 213
Center + NEC 877C D0 34684 208
Vol - NEC 877C 8C 34684 140
Vol + NEC 877C 88 34684 136

etc etc etc - this coding goes on for 3 pages. I have the same thing for the DVD Player as well.

How do I make the codes needed to enter into the Pronto Professional program.

I have had a look at MakeHex and with the above coding I still don't know what to do.

I did the same thing with some Denon equipment that I have and I used the Denon Pronto Hex Generator v2.01 Written by Robert Wilson (Program re-named dropping Kaseikyo from the name). It worked well. Can I use this program again for the NAD equipment.

I have usually been able to resolve other issues from reading the review but I think I am totally stuck on this one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With MakeHex, use nec1.irp and set device=135.124
Then use the DataDec column of the info you quoted to select the function numbers from the MakeHex output.

The 135.124 comes from the 877C. 87 hex is 135 decimal. 7C is 124 decimal. Do that translation for any of the codes that have some value other than 877C.
