I've been doing some research as to why I can't learn the XM radio codes for a Denon AVR 788 receiver. It seems Kaseikyo codes are used to select this source.
The explanations as to how these codes work are amazing. I wish I had the talant some of the programmers on this site have.
In all the explanations though, I can't seem to find the Pronto hex I'm looking for.
Here are the details...

* Remote Philips Pronto TSU-3500
* Denon AVR-788 Receiver
* Need hex code for XM radio. If different, need both for zones 1 & 2

Thanks guys,
GP

I created these with Denon Pronto Hex Gen and the PDF on Denon's site. Note the Genre 1 and 2 values (device 4.1) are different for this receiver than the preset (device 7.5) I put into Denon Pronto Hex Gen (which suits the 3808, 4308, 5308 etc).

It's strange that Richard's codes worked as these follow the format of the 3808, 4308, A1HD etc. For example, see - [Link: usa.denon.com]

The "Input XM" code he posted is the same as "main zone, remote ID 1" (device 4.1, function 714) and the -/+ codes are the same as "XM, remote ID 1" (device 7.5, functions 21 and 22).

Did the codes I posted also work or are the Denon docs for the 788 wrong?

Hey Rob,

I didn't see your post before I returned to the customers home, so I don't know if your codes work.
Thanks for the help.

Just another thought...

As Georges codes worked for the Main Zone, it might be worth trying this code to select the XM tuner on Zone 2:
