I did it AGAIN! I upgraded my equipment without knowing for sure.

I have an URC MX-850 that I love. It gets a 10 for (W)ife (A)cceptance (F)actor

I upgraded from a Sony STR-DA3100ES to the STR-DA4300ES receiver. Knowing that the new receiver wasn't listed in the MX-850's IR database. However, I ASS-U-MEd there would be no issues.

Well the new receiver is Fantastic and everything works with the remote EXCEPT the discrete codes for the SOUND FIELDS.

This might not sound like much, but it really helped with the WAF points.

We like our Music on all channel stereo and SAT TV on ProLogic and SAT Movies on PLII Movie and DVD on Auto.

If anyone has any codes from any remote, I could learn them into my MX-850

If need be I will trade or otherwise replace the Sony with an ONKYO TX-SR705 which is listed in the IR database.

Thanks for your time.
