I know I found the discrete on/off pronto hex code for this TV somewhere - I believe it was on this site - but like an idiot I lost the bookmark. I searched the forum but can't find it. Please reply if you have any ideas (I heard the IR codes were the same for some NEC televisions).

Do you have any learned Pronto Hex for ordinary functions of the same device? If so, post a few.

I, and some of the other experts here, can usually identify IR code sets based on a few learned signals. Whenever you ask for discrete codes, it is helpful to include a few learned signals of the same device, but that is especially important since you seem to think your TV use uses the same codes as some other brand, but you don't know specific models of that other brand.

Unfortunately I don't, because I have a Harmony One remote. Logitech told me if I send them the pronto code, they'll convert it and put it into the harmony database. Is there any way to capture from a Harmony 880 or One so that I could post it here?
