Try "input" and then the corresponding input "number". Most Toshiba's seem to respond to this, and it is an easy way to mimic a discrete.

what type of remote do you have? I have some discrete input commands if you need them. These work without using the input command. It works on only some models though. The codes I have are in a .mxd file.
