Never had 'em.
Some have used a combo of menu and power to fake it, but it fails if you have a DVR in the middle of recording on the other tuner.
Most of us leave them on all the time. A few use a video sense module tied to a control system.

The only cable boxes that I am aware of that have discrete power codes are the Pace DVRs.
