Ok... it's been a while since I've done this, and I'm working with new Xantech Dragon software that isn't user friendly. But I've already wasted a lot of hours struggling to find true hex for AV1, AV2, AV3 and AV4 for a 5+ year old Philips HDTV 55PP9352.

I've got AV3, but that's all. Found the Pronto RC5 condensed codes, but haven't had luck in converting them.

Can ANYONE provide the simple Hex for AV1,2 and 4 for this older Philips set?

Finally found a solution to the "Philips" discrete input that might work for others.

These are the only 2 HEX codes for discrete input that I've found on this forum that work for our older Philips HDTV rear projection set:
AV3

But I read one post where a certain One-for-All remote had higher capabilities for controlling discrete input. Went to WalMart, Radio Shack, etc. and couldn't find such a remote, but I did discover a 7-component Universal HDTV Remote at Radio Shack ($23) that actually had discrete INPUT selection buttons on it (TV, RV, Comp, HDMI). Bought it with hope and a prayer. Then, after getting it home and programming the TV to default to Philips, I found two of these input select buttons correctly sent IR codes for AV1 and AV4. Hooray!!

Even if this forum cannot always supply the answer, sometimes it steers you to a solution you didn't think about.

I'm not sure if you mean you found all the codes now, or you are still looking for missing ones, but since you found a few of the hex codes that work, I can take a guess at some of the others based on other Philips TV. Try the following two codes for other inputs:

0000 0073 0000 000B 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0040 0020 0020 0CC5

and

0000 0073 0000 000C 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0CC5

That Radio Shack remote you got is actually made by the same company that makes One for All remotes and have the same features. In addition to the built in database and functions preprogrammed in, you can add missing functions using advanced codes that can be translated from Pronto hex codes. In fact, I got the codes above from a database over at JP1 site and converted them to Pronto hex codes.
