This may seem ignorant but what is the URC database and where can I get a copy? I did ask in an older thread where I first saw it mentioned [Link: remotecentral.com]but that seems a little dead and I never got a reply.

It is a collection of models with their infrared remote codes embedded in the URC software for each remote.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |

Ok - thanks. So no use for a Pronto then. Shame.

Technically there is a use with a pronto, but it requires a spare URC remote to put the codes onto first, and then learn them onto the pronto config.
All we can do until then is hope that URC include exporting hex codes in their software in the future...they've already added hex importing, so it should only be a matter of time
