Does anyone have any suggestions for devices that might have the most ir commands? I am looking to emulate a remote that has the largest number of ir codes so that i can then remap each of those ir codes in a program like Girder to perform custom actions.

My guess would be like a 2 or 3 zone a/v recieiver, its going to have at least twice as many codes as a regular receiver. Do you want to use that particular remote? if not, just use a universal remote and you'll have every ir code... even a 5 dollar universal remote has thousands of codes on it.

Thx that might work well. Actually i already have a Nevo Q50 and would then basically add one of those receivers as a device on the remote and then remap all those codes in the pc software to perform custom pc commands. I actually have no need for that actually remote or its commands.
