OK JUST GOT A SAMSUNG 40" LCD TV WITH REMOTE. I HAVE A TOSHIBA DVD HD PLAYER THE SAMSUNG BOOK SAYS THE CODES ARE 028 062 076 BUT NONE WORK ARE THERE ANY OTHER CODES OR AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG

ALSO THE SCIENTICIFIC ATLANTIC BOX THE CODES ARE 042 OR 043 NOT WORKING EITHER ANY IDEAS OR WHAT AM I DOING WRONG PLEASE CONTACT ME HERE OR AT [email protected]

The only thing you are doing wrong is not punctuating :)... well, you also have your caps lock on... makes your post hard to read and easy to ignore.

I can not say if you are doing anything wrong because I do not know your proceedure, however, expecting your TV's native remote to have every available code already programmed into it is like... well... to be nice... expecting too much.

You are doing something wrong in the proceedure or you are SOL.

ok here is what i am doing - as per samsung i select the device, hit set then the code thats listed. I have tried all 3 codes with no success, any advice

Sorry... SOL...

There is a fixed set of preprogrammed codes in the native remote and I imagine the Toshiba codes are new enough that they have not made it into the ODMs (original design manufacturer) database.

If this were easy I would not have a job :)
