reason i dont specify a Particular remote is becaus ei dont use a "Real" / "Hard" remote. i infact use a application for my Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC "VITO Remote" which supports all Configuration files from this site.

i havent tried any for the Mac Mini but i have the older "Apple TV/Video" kit installed in my ancient Macintosh Quadra 630CD mac. The Remote that came with iot was ruiend when my basement started to flood (i had at that time moved my mac upstairs before a pipe broke)

i'm currently using "Ronnie Wimberly's Simple Layout" for my Comcast Cable Box and my Broksonic TV.

i did see a post talking about the "Apple TV" if he/she is refeering to teh AppleTV/Video kit used in the old 68k macs., Try using WebTV remotes one used in teh older sony ones that used 56k modems instead of teh newer one sthat use your cable modem, i oneday for sh**s and giiggles tried it and found out it operated all aviable commands on teh mac Including Powering down the mac~! Hopefully that helps
